Now if only people would look past its supposed difficulty and see its carefully crafted intricacy instead. Likely because many of these people had never imported games before or played any of From Software’s titles.

Voice acting has been similarly redone, which changes the mood in certain cases. I loved the contempt of one blacksmith’s dialogue in the original Demon’s Souls, for example, but he now sounds less harsh. I miss the sadness in Stockpile Thomas’ voice when he tells me that I have a heart of gold, and that I must protect it. This game does not suffer from any negative points in its kind, and if the only drawback of the main game was the animations and some graphics, now they have become the strength of the game.
