Use the fan to Beam Glide right to a platform where a Bot with goggles and a small rabbit are standing. Through the controller, I can feel raindrops pitter-pattering as the sound of the storm emanates from within. Astro’s Playroom was a tech demo dedicated to the DualSense, PlayStation 5’s signature controller. The controller cames packed with a lot of new technology, making it incredibly unique. The latest PlayStation mascot showed off its capabilities while being a fun little game all on its own. For a time, you feel as though you really are controlling a new tiny little software. But total, in a no cost game, a slew of challenge degrees to test yourself in is simply icing on the near-perfect cake.
Both the roller ball and the ship suits were easily the best of the ones on offer. Considering both get more interesting levels after their introduction. For example, the roller ball goes from being asphalt paths to a pinball machine-like level, while the ship mostly stays the same but has a fun boss to beat with its rockets. Astro’s Playroom lets you control Astro on a 3D platforming adventure across 4 different components of the PlayStation 5. You can go through Memory Meadow, a cloudy realm of wind and storms. Or visit the Cooling Springs, featuring a beach party setting and a surprise ice level later.

Even as-is I’d wager Sony could easily charge $20 and most people would happily pay that without feeling ripped off at all. Usually rumble tends to fade away and eventually becomes something I stop noticing. In some cases I’ll turn it off entirely so it doesn’t distract me. But in the case of the DualSense, for the first time ever really, I feel like it actually enhances and changes the game for the better. Puzzle Piece 4/4 – When going down the section where you are blown by two clouds, make sure to stick to the right after the second cloud to get bounced to this puzzle piece. Artifact 1/2 “PlayStation Memory Card” – Just ahead there will be a split in the road with a path on the left with a danger sign.
